What is a "Health
Check" ?
This is a annual comprehensive assessment of
your health and well being.
We customise the Health Check to suit your family
history and lifestyle
e.g. if you are a smoker who enjoys diving
we will focus on lung function.
e.g. if you have a family history of heart
attack and you have a stressful occupation
we can arrange a complete review of cardiac
function.
Why do people have an
Annual Health Check?
Not only does it highlight any problem areas,
but it also enables us to practice preventative
medicine.
The screening will include:

Full physical examination
including:

Pressure

and family history

What
is the cost?
The Health Check is available to e-med
members at a cost of £160 (+films).
It is similar in content to a "BUPA" health screen,
however we are able to price it at a significantly
lower cost due to our lower overheads.
