About the Cambridge & District Classic Car Club
Hello and welcome to the Cambridge & District Classic Car Club Home Pages. Our club was formed in 1995 for enthusiasts of classic cars! As a club we cater for all marques from the mid 30's right up to the mid 80's. If you consider it to be a classic, then so do we.
The membership covers all age groups with the youngest being just twenty and our eldest seventy plus! The club holds a monthly pub meeting where we hold games, organise trips out,and talk about our cars etc. We try to attend as many of the events held for classic car enthusiasts up and down the country as funds and time permit. We also attend some of the local car shows such as the Luton festival of transport, Kimbolton Castle, Knebworth, Soham and Littleport classic car shows. We also organise our own events and trips out
Our membership currently has members from Royston, Bishops Stortford, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Chatteris, Sutton, Wilburton, Gt Cambourne, Hardwick,Stotfold, Littleport, Sawston, Saffron Walden, Newport, Hinxton, Newmarket, Shelford, and elsewhere. You may ask what's in it for you! In a brief, new friends, an evening out to the pub, events to attend and so on. Interested? Then check out the rest of this site.
We hold a monthly meeting at the Longbow pub in Stapleford on the first friday of the month - meetings start at 8pm and go on to closing time.
